Let’s Talk Better is a campaign aimed at inspiring better conversations, to boost mental health and wellbeing. Authorities such as, broadcaster Nihal Arthanayake, author Johan Hari, and the Samaritans recognize the harm from dysfunctional conversations. Numerous campaigns recognize the damage caused by taboo and stigmatised topics in society. This includes the Baton of Hope suicide prevention charity. We are working to help people to communicate better as human beings, individually, in groups, and in public. Initial events have focused on loneliness and connection, and taboos, notably financial distress and suicide. We will hold further events. We will also organize innovative activities. This will help spread the benefits of Let’s Talk Better within the London Borough of Bromley and beyond.
The campaign is led by The Clarity Coach Zeenat Noorani. Darren Weale, a Public Relations (PR) Consultant, also leads the campaign. They jointly present the Bromley Buzz podcast along with Sarah Marsh-Collings babelmonkey Digital and Marketing.
We intend to change the world, one word at a time.
