Let’s Talk Better CIC is a campaign aimed at inspiring better conversations to boost mental health and wellbeing. Authorities such as broadcaster Nihal Arthanayake, author Johan Hari, and the Samaritans recognise the harm from dysfunctional conversations. Numerous campaigns recognise the damage caused by taboo and stigmatised topics in society. This includes the Baton of Hope suicide prevention charity.
We are working to help people to communicate better as human beings, individually, in groups, and in public. We have held several events which have focused on the taboos and stigmas surrounding themes such as loneliness and connection, financial wellbeing, identity and self-worth, body image, suicide and many more. LTB organises innovative activities and works in collaboration with other organisations and charities. The aim of the events held by Let’s Talk Better is to spread the benefits of having more open and honest conversations around mental wellbeing within the London Borough of Bromley and beyond.
The campaign is led by Zeenat Noorani -Clarity Consulting. Darren Weale, a Public Relations (PR) Consultant, also leads the campaign. They jointly present the Bromley Buzz podcast along with Sarah Marsh-Collings of Lumen Creative Marketing.
We intend to change the world, one word at a time.
